Over a million children have attended an Expressive Rhythm Story workshop since 1999 and Paul has now developed this training to allow others to offer the same.
Paul is currently the Programme Director for Arthur Hull’s UK Playshop, a 6 day intensive training for Drum Circle Facilitator’s from around the world, which is based at Wiston Lodge in Scotland, where Paul is the Creative Arts Development Officer, overseeing an ongoing series of Arts and Music events at Wiston Lodge. www.rhythmbridge.com

“Paul Dear has bundles of integrity and spirit and the passion to share his bliss while serving his community in every rhythmical way possible. He has supported me in my Drum Circle facilitator trainings for years all throughout the UK and has moved from being my student to my mentor and he is now my counsellor, friend and peer. I would like to be like him someday if I ever grow up”. Arthur Hull, Village Music Circles

Paul was great! I enjoyed and learnt a lot from him that is truly useful. Will definitely use the framework of the story to enhance my work with the kids. Overall the workshop was awesome, connected with great people here. Looking forward for future workshop. Haidah (Singapore)

Paul gave more than expected. We conduct expressive rhythm stories at PIPI centre once a week. Autistic children with sensory issues are more responsive and enjoy the stories with rhythm. Expressive Rhythm Stories is a fantastic approach to engage with the children and teach a form of expressive language using both left and right learning method whilst building self- confidence.
